OUR PRODUCT PORTFOLIO
We believe that our product portfolio is second to none
in terms of quality, value for money, and functionality.
All of our products have been designed and developed as
part of a family with the purpose of ensuring maximum
versatility and inter-changeability whenever possible.
This means that most of the products share the same
mounting configurations to allow easy 'drop in'
replacement or upgrade. Our joysticks also share a
number of above-panel options including, gaiter, bezel,
and knob inter-changeability.
The product portfolio comprises of :-
The 1000 Series - V3 & V4 switch joysticks.
The 4000 Series - Robust, industrial quality
potentiometer joysticks.
The 5000 Series - Lighter duty, potentiometer joysticks.
The 7000 Series - First generation contactless joysticks.
The 9000 Series - Next generation contactless joysticks.

THE
1000 SERIES - SWITCH JOYSTICKS.
The 1000 Series is a range of robust, panel mounted
switch joysticks, and are available with either V4-5A or V4-10A
or V3-15A switches. The 1000 Series are ideal for camera
and machine control style applications, where the
control system does not require proportional control.
Supplied with user changeable limiter plates, the 1000
Series can be configured to operate in either single or
double axis mode. The range is designed to mount in
either screw or bush style configurations and is offered
as a low-cost, industry standard, medium duty product.
The above panel appearance of the 1000 Series may be
customised by selecting your desired styles from the
range of knob, gaiter and mounting options.

THE
4000 SERIES - INDUSTRIAL QUALITY, POTENTIOMETER
JOYSTICKS
The 4000 Series is a range of highly versatile
single, dual, or tri-axial, proportional joysticks. The
range employs high quality plastic conductive film
potentiometers as standard, and is designed as a sub-panel
mount unit.
Available with many different above panel configurations,
the 4000 Series is ideally suited to medium or heavy
duty applications such as electric vehicle control.
The 4000 Series remains a preferred choice for some
applications where absolute immunity to RFI is critical.

THE
5000 SERIES - LOW COST, POTENTIOMETER JOYSTICKS
Newly launched in 2006, the 5000 Series is a range of
low cost, lighter duty potentiometer joysticks which are
designed specifically for keyboard style applications.
With an installed depth of less than 30mm the 5000
Series delivers a simple yet truly effective solution
for low cost, proportional control.

THE
7000 SERIES - CONTACTLESS JOYSTICKS
The 7000 Series offers a range of single, dual, or
tri axial products, utilising contactless sensing to
give highly repeatable proportional signals that do not
degrade with use. The 7000 Series is designed for use in
the most demanding of applications where the requirement
is for supreme, and consistent, performance throughout
the longest possible working life. Mechanical strength
is assured though the use of our 'Locking Cam-Ring'
assembly system**. With the even distribution of
internal loads, this system guarantees the joystick the
superior strength and rigidity required to maintain
accuracy throughout its working life.
Electronically generated output signals provide for
the highest flexibility with the option of additional
functions including both centre, and internal fault
detection. The 'mirror' signals generated by the
internal circuitry can also be made to the user where it
is preferred that external fault and centre monitoring
is desirable.
Unlike some designs utilising 'Hall effect' technology,
the 7000 Series inductive joystick is truly capable of
fully internal fault and centre detection, and remains
the most fully protected joystick system available.
The 7000 Series can be mounted as either a 'drop in' or
sub panel fixing, and offers a range of electronic
functionality that makes it the ideal user interface for
complex and safety critical applications such as
materials handling and power chair control.
The 7000 Series has now been replaced by the 9000 Series
(see below), and whilst the 7000 Series remains
supported in production volumes, all new designs should
utilise the 9000 Series.

THE
9000 SERIES - NEXT GENERATION, CONTACTLESS JOYSTICKS
Launched in 2003, the 9000 Series is a new range of
contactless joysticks which are designed specifically
for those applications that demand lowest possible
profile below the panel.
Developed from the proven 7000 Series, the 9000 Series
employs the same, highly proven, sensing and circuitry.
The mechanics have been radically improved to reduce the
below panel depth to a world class 35.4 mm sub-panel or
31 mm drop-through.
This joystick offers self-centering, omni-directional
functionality, and utilises the exclusive Locking
cam?system to rigidly secure the highly repeatable
mechanism around the precision ground and polished steel
operating shaft.
The 9000 Series also offers full dual decode technology,
including the option to additionally output any of the
following ; electronic centre detect, internal fault
detect or secondary inverse wipers.
